Good Touches/Bad Touches
This class is designed for children ages 3 – 10. In our society we children are taught negative messages about sexuality.
We teach children inappropriate words to describe their bodies as well as make them fearful of normal sexual curiosity.
Parents and caregivers are often so scared that their children may be violated; we often impose our fears onto the children.
Using a positive approach to talking with children about prevention will help to empower children and allow them to be able to
trust that the adults in their lives are able to handle if something does happen to them. Through the use of lecture, story
telling, and hand on exercises, this class teaches children how to protect their bodies and what to do if someone does touch
them inappropriately. This class is approximately 1-2 hours depending on the group member’s age.
